Dining Out in Jersey City
Even if you love to cook at home at Jersey City rentals, everyone loves an occasional meal out. Fortunately, Jersey City has a plethora of excellent restaurants with renowned chefs at their helms. Here are a few of our favorites in the city:
Skinner’s loft is a family-run American bistro with fresh, contemporary food and a funky patio with string lights and plants. Food includes everything from classics Cesar salad, steak salad, and beef brisket, and more inventive plates like cauliflower “schnitzel” and sweet & hot sausage orecchiette.
Dinner is served from 5 to 11 p.m. daily, and brunch is offered Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Stop in from one of the nearby Jersey City rentals.
This authentic Italian restaurant has been running for almost 50 years. The oldest Italian restaurant in town, this restaurant serves home-made ravioli, broiled lobster tails, and a ton of long-standing house specialties. The cherry on top? All-you-can-eat pasta on Thursdays.
The kitchen is open daily from 11:30 a.m. until midnight for lunch and dinner.
Dullboy is a literary-inspired bar and restaurant where fresh, inventive cocktails are the pride and joy of the establishment. Try one of their signature cocktails, like the Machado, a concoction of whisky, passion fruit liqueur, and lime juice. Alternative, try a classic like the Bee’s Knees, Gibson, or Paper Plane. As far as food goes, charred octopus, wild skate, and duck fat tater tots are just a few of the menu items that will have you salivating.
This 1970s-inspired eatery is one of the favorite late-night spots in the city. Except for Sundays, the kitchen is open until at least midnight. FM serves appetizers like mozzarella sticks, nachos, and loaded fries. Wings, burgers, sandwiches, and salads are among the tasty mains.
Pair this with a full bar – cocktails, beer, and wine – and great music, and you have a top-notch venue less than 10 blocks from our luxury Jersey City rentals.
Razza serves classic artisanal pizza around the corner from Jersey City rentals at 90 Columbus. Reminiscent of an old-school Italian wine bar, its cozy ambience and minimal décor ensure all the focus is on the food. Try the classic Margherita or the Di Natale – topped with olives, pine nuts, raisins, and basil – for something a little different. All pies are fresh and hot, directly from the wood-burning oven.
While our New York neighbor may be better known for its food and restaurant scene, that doesn’t mean we don’t have one of our own. Luxury Jersey City rentals is centrally located with plenty of things to do nearby. Keep reading our blog for more on living in downtown Jersey City.
